Chuba Okadigbo Quotes (1 quote)
“I think the first thing is to warn INEC (Independent National Electoral Commission) to be careful. It is in their interest to be good neighbors to Nigerians and prove that the country was not a banana republic as the ruling party is making us believe.”
Interview with Charles Onyekamuo, This Day, 2003-04-13
“The children now love luxury, they have bad manners, contempt for authority, they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize over their teachers.”
Probably apocryphal. May have been originated from the comedy The Clouds by Aristophanes
As quoted in Animated Architecture (1982) by Derek Walker
The Ordeal of Richard Feverel (1859)
