Bio: Iamblichus, also known as Iamblichus Chalcidensis, or Iamblichus of Apamea was a Syrian Neoplatonist philosopher who determined the direction taken by later Neoplatonic philosophy. He is perhaps best known for his compendium on Pythagorean philosophy.
