Bob Marley Quote
“Emancipate yourself from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our mind.
Have no fear for atomic energy, 'cause none of them can stop the time.”
Redemption Song, from the album Uprising (1979) - Song Lyrics
As quoted in The New York Times (28 October 1973)
“Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring — it was peace.”
As quoted in The Canine Hiker's Bible (2000) by Doug Gelbert, p. 8
“The person who tries to live alone will not succeed as a human being. His heart withers if it does not answer another heart. His mind shrinks away if he hears only the echoes of his own thoughts and finds no other inspiration.”
―Pearl S. Buck
